The Self-Awareness Hip Flask was designed to help users control their alcohol intake while promoting self-reflection and social connection. Incorporating existentialist ideas and analysing derived theories of alcohol dependence, I have attempted to use increased self-awareness to help users control their alcohol intake. Through an intuitive wristband, it monitors alcohol intake and gently alerts the user when they reach a healthy limit. Its core feature is magnetic fluid that improves self-awareness by recognising and collecting the user's emotion data and generating unique magnetic fluid shapes based on the user's emotions, visualising the user's personality. In terms of social interaction, the product is modular, and when two product are connected, their magnetic fluids resonate, allowing users to see how well they fit with others. This design redefines drinking by merging moderate drinking with meaningful connection and self-discovery.
